How It Works
You're doing it friends! The first step is to reach out and request all the information you need to see if I might be the right photographer for you!
First This
Connection is at the heart of MPP and so I love chatting with my families (via Google Hangouts or over the phone) prior to booking to hear all about your family and goal for your session.
Then this
Once we chat and settle on a date, I'll send over your booking proposal and portrait contract and we make things official! Cue the champagne pop!

To start, we'll have a consultation via phone to chat about your vision for your session.
I want to hear all about you and your family! To officially book your session, simply choose one of the collections. A 50% Retainer Fee is due along with a signed Portrait Contract to secure your session.
One
BOOKING
After your retainer is paid, the remainder is due one week prior to your session.
Your retainer fee is non-refundable, however you may transfer your date once without any additional rescheduling fees. All payments are made online via your Client Portal where you can easily find all our emails, your forms, and your invoice in one place.

PAYMENTS
During our initial consultation we'll chat about your vision for your session and talk through some ideas!
Once we're official, I'll also send you a Family Questionnaire to fill out so that I can get to know you, your goals for the session, location ideas, etc! Together we will plan and style the session of your dreams going over everything from color palette, styling, posing, and more!

...feel beautiful and confident. I will guide you through all your poses, focusing on the areas you feel more confident in, and allowing you to just be YOU I want you to come away from your session not only with beautiful and elegant imagery, but with wonderful new memories as a family.

YOUR SESSION DAY
Your images will be delivered via an Online Gallery where you can easily view and download your images.
Your gallery will be active for one year. You can also order prints and canvases directly through your gallery. If you want to order a custom Keepsake Album after your session we will have a separate design meeting to go over specifics as well as cost. I'm sure your partner will love this tangible gift!

Hi friend, I'm Melissa and it's so lovely to meet you. I'm a fine art wedding and portrait photographer, wife, and mother. I live for traveling (preferably somewhere warm and by the sea), storytelling, and capturing sweet love stories like yours.

What is your background in photography?
I studied photography at both the University of Florida (go Gators!) and the Rhode Island School of Design. I graduated with my BFA in Photography in 2012 and shortly after started my business in my hometown of Coral Springs, FL.

How much is the retainer to secure my date?
Will you help us with locations, styling, and posing?
A 50% retainer is required to secure your date on my calendar. This fee is non-refundable but transferable.
Absolutely! You tell me what your vision is and I will help bring it all to life for you!
Do you travel and what are your travel fees?
I happily travel for weddings and sessions! For South and Central Florida weddings and sessions under 250 miles I do not charge any additional travel fees. If you are inquiring about an out of state session or wedding reach out for a custom travel quote! Cost varies based upon location.
How do we inquire with you about wedding photography?
If you're interested in having me as your wedding photographer simply ask for my Wedding Inquiry Magazine and I'd happily send it along! I include an engagement session in most my wedding collections. Weddings begin at $6,200.
What if we want a studio session? Do you have a studio or do you know of any to rent?
I love photographing in natural light studios, especially for maternity and newborn. While I do not have my own photography studio, I have a list of local studio spaces for you to choose from. If this is something you'd like to consider for your session simply let me know and I will share some locations with you based on the look you want for your photos!
Why do you love photographing weddings?
Because one of the most beautiful commitments one can make in this life is to bind ourselves with another person. That union is sacred and beautiful and should be celebrated whenever (and as often) as possible!
